How do I create a new entry?

Open the app and tap the "+" button. Choose between income and expense, enter the amount and an optional description, then confirm the entry.

Can I edit or delete an entry?

No, for data integrity reasons, entries cannot be edited or deleted. Incorrect entries can be reversed – the original entry remains visible.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

By default, all data is stored locally on your device only. If you have iCloud enabled, your cash book data is optionally synced between your Apple devices. This data is encrypted in your private iCloud.

How do I export a monthly report?

In the settings, you can export a monthly report. You can choose between PDF and CSV. Exporting monthly reports requires CashUp Pro.

What happens if an expense would push the balance into the negative?

CashUp automatically blocks expenses that would push the cash balance into the negative. This ensures your cash book always remains correct.

How do I delete my data?

In the settings, you can reset your data. This will delete all entries and reset the cash book to its initial state. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
